The Good Samaritan Center of Fredericksburg

Volunteers

Our volunteers make the Center possible. Over 90 volunteers from all walks of life serve the center. Our volunteers work at the front desk and in the medical clinic helping the nurse, in the medication room, etc. They also work on our landscaping, giving us what we consider to be the nicest doctor’s office in town.

The volunteer hours totaled over 7,000 in 2007, and according to the U.S. Department of Labor this represents over $125,000 of labor contributed. Without the contributions of these wonderful volunteers the work we do would simply not be possible.
